How to collect ATM ?       What are ATM ?

Beside the different production of these vending machine postage stamps differ from traditional

stamps in one basic respect:

they can be purchased from the machine - depending on the inserted amount of money - or from

the philatelic services and any denomiation rate. As it is not significant to collect all possible rates

most philatelists restrict themselves to either one denomination rate - preferably the lowest - or to sets

as sold by the philatelic services or the stamp-dealers. The sets usually consist the stamps of different

standard value for which the vending machines are directly programmed.

ATM are collected as traditional stamps as mint / MNH  (**), cancelled / used (oo), firstday cancelled

(FD-oo), firstday covers (FDC) and on covers and - if the system allows - also with the corresponding

machine receipt.
